Ok so recently i have been getting a few spots and blemishes on my skin, and i have been quite good and resisted squeezing the life out of them... but i STILL SCAR!!! I am getting left with unslightly dark almost purplish marks on my face and neck. I read a few reviews on Boots Scar Reduction Serum, its available from their healthcare section. Apparantly this stuff is amazing, and people have been ordering it stateside! Sinse iv tried MOST creams, lotions and potions for scar's i thought id give this one a try as its a relatively good price. A 50ml pump tube costs £7.99.
I used to use bio oil all over my body, but it works out way to expensive and i felt like it was making my skin a little darker...! Iv also tried making some natural remedies i have seen on the internet, at had no such luck at lightening these scars.
Anyways, iv been using this serum for 3 weeks Day and Night without fail. I pump a small amount onto my finger, the size of a pea, and have been rubbing it in on my main scars. I have 2 small ones on my neck, one on my stomach, and a few on my cheeks.
It has taken me 3 weeks to see a noticeable difference, but they are definately lightening. The tube suggests it can take a month for a noticeable difference to be seen, and to continue use for 3 months. I will defo carry on using this product as it has also acted as a good moisteriser for my skin. The serum has a soft velvety feel to it, and is also non greasy, which is ideal for acne prone skin. Unfortunately i didnt think to take any pictures of the scars before i started using it, but i will take sum at 1 month stage and thereafter.
